Every now and then I see a comment on a card and I am reminded that our cards are so much more than paper and ink.

One of the special reasons I love this thread is sometimes hearing news about one of our dear stamping friends. I love our SCS community!

Rain is so rare in So. Calif. that Sweet Dolly did not know what to do, and I'm not much better. I ran outside in my flip flops to bring her in, and slipped and fell. Both of us are soggy but unhurt....a big hug and thanks to these wonderful ladies for listing my cards and making Dolly and me smile - Sabrina, Lisa, Maura, Robin, Angie, Susie, Linda, Sue, and Kia.
Alice, thank you for mentioning my card that I made for the F4A challenge. Wow, I will certainly have to repeat making more of these. It was a fun one to do and I always love one layered cards because they mail so easily.

I'm doing a fly-by of this thread, so I haven't read any previous posts. I had ZERO time to make anything all week, and VERY limited time in the galleries, but managed to add a few favorites, nonetheless:

Many thanks to wavejumper for listing my This Old House card on your favorites list for this week. And thank you for your wonderful comments. To answer your question on the layering...I only layered three houses, the three in the front. The fourth house (the tall one in the background)is attached directly to the cardstock. No, I didn't raise any of the windows, but did think about layering the balconies. But decided not to sink to that level of insanity. Thanks for your question. Didn't know how to contact you.
